Accessibility
Last updated: 24 July 2026
GridShift Creative wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using assistive technology. Accessibility is treated as part of the design work, not an afterthought, and we welcome feedback.
What we have built in
- Semantic page structure with a single main heading per page and ordered sub-headings.
- A “Skip to content” link at the start of every page.
- Keyboard access to navigation, including the Services menu, which opens on focus and closes with Escape.
- Visible focus outlines on links, buttons and form fields.
- Form fields with real labels, and a short note explaining what happens to what you send.
- Text and interface colours chosen for readable contrast, with decorative images marked so screen readers skip them.
- Layouts that reflow for small screens and support browser zoom.
- Support for the operating system “reduce motion” setting: animations and the background video are reduced or replaced with a still image.
- The background video is muted, decorative, and carries no information you need in order to use the page.
Where we are honest about limits
We have not commissioned a formal independent accessibility audit of this site, so we do not claim conformance with a specific WCAG level or certification under any accessibility legislation. We test with keyboard navigation and browser tools, and we fix issues as we find them. There may be barriers we have not yet identified.
Alternate formats and feedback
